In each of these resources, load a company's profile and use the left hand or top navigation menu to get to SEC filings.

Free Sources

  • EDGAR – The SEC’s EDGAR database provides free access to corporate filings, including registration statements, prospectuses and periodic reports filed on Forms 10-K and 10-Q, as well as recent corporate events reported on Form 8-K.
  • Company Websites – Companies typically provide recent annual reports and many SEC filings directly on their websites. Look for an "investor relations" section.

  • WRDS SEC Analytics Suite – see WRDS access help – Allows parsing for millions of SEC filings based on custom criteria. Includes an SEC Filings Index, a Readability and Sentiment Analysis tool, a Filings Search tool, SEC Linking Tables, and a Bag of Words interface.
  • The DARC team has also added XBRL data to Redivis which can be queried.
  • SEC EDGAR Data – Provides multiple options to get access to filings in EDGAR for free.
