Database Guide: Tracxn: Reports & Investment Activity

Tracxn reports cover close to 250 market sectors. In 150+ pages reports, Tracxn analysts offer extensive data in mostly graph, chart, and table formats on overall market sector and its composing sub-sectors, identify leading private companies, present detailed investment analysis, forecast on investment trends, exits outlook, and more.

Find specific reports by either of the two methods:

From the left navigation panel:

1. In the left navigation panel, in Reports Library section, click Reports.
2. In Search box at top right, enter the keyword(s).
3. Select a category from the auto-fill list, similar to the shown below. That will open the page with selected sector reports for the past several years.
4. Click the report title or View Details button.
5. With the report opened:
1. Click the Download Report link to open report as a PDF file.
2. Save/print report.

1. Click the Full report link above the title page and scroll through the report.
2. Click the Pop-Up button. That will open report in full-screen size.
3. Select Save/Print/Download options in top right corner.

From top menu bar on Home page:

1. Click Sectors Tracked tab at top
2. Select a sector or use the Search Feeds box above on left to find the sector of interest.
3. Click the selected sector name. That will open multiple results.
4. Click Change View link at top left.
5. From the drop-down box, select Reports. That will open reports page for the chosen sector.
6. To view/download a full report, follow steps 4-5 above.

From the left navigation panel, in Activity section, select categories to find detailed investment analytics across markets, geographies, and other multiple investment criteria. Selected categories include:

• Latest Funding Rounds: By going through the top menu, find data on the latest finance rounds, most active investors, a chart for investment landscape in selected industry sectors, or investment trends. (Select the Investment Trends category either from the top menu or from the left panel navigation).
  
  Use filters from the Filter drop-down menu at top right to fully customize investment activity display.
• Investment Trends: Fully customizable chart. Use filters from the Filter drop-down menu at top right to build a custom chart. Toggle between Chart and Table display by selecting the respective icons above the chart on right.
  To further customize the chart, click the Settings icon..
• Cap Tables: View a list of companies where Capitalization data is available. May refine only by Cap Tables published dates or by dates of awarding shares.
• Leaderboard: Side-by-side analysis of companies rated by of social and mobile apps activity along with additional company data, such as founding year, location, stage, and funding. Find Tracxn overall company ratings, on a scale from 1 to 5 under Overall tab at top.
  
  Use filters from the Filter drop-down menu at top right to create a custom set of companies. Click the Sort icon to customize sorting order from drop-down menu options.
