New Resource: D&B International Historical Data

Stanford researchers now have access to D&B International Historical Data, which is a large time-series dataset of international establishment-level company data.

The data comes from D&B (Dun & Bradstreet, sold by Mergent) and contains data about millions of public and private companies globally. The data goes down to the establishment level (e.g. each CVS location). Variables for each establishment include sales, SIC codes, number of employees, location, and more.

The dataset contains annual data from 2009-2021, although some tables start later. Ask Us if you need data at a higher frequency, as monthly data may be available but would require significant data formatting.
