Resource Update: New Health Survey Data in Nielsen IQ

by Alice Kalinowski on 2023-06-27T10:25:00-07:00 in Consumers & Demographics | 0 Comments

A new dataset called the "Annual Aliments, Health, and Wellness Survey" has been added to the Nielsen IQ Consumer Panel data.

This is an annual survey that captures details about respondents' ailments, diagnoses, if they follow special diets or exercise, how they manage their ailments, and how their ailments and health concerns affect their shopping preferences. The survey began in 2011 and has between 40,000-62,000 panelists a year. Learn more about the data on the Kilt's site (scroll down the page).

Nielsen IQ data is available to current Stanford faculty and PhD students. PhD students need to register with their advising faculty. To request access, go to Kilts Center's Marketing Data and select United States > Stanford University from the dropdown list. Each researcher is required to provide Chicago Booth with an annual status report.

For questions about access, contact Michael Dula.
