Persistent Links

Bloomberg.com & Persistent Links

Linking to articles on Bloomberg.com

You can directly link to articles on Bloomberg.com because all Stanford users can create an individual free Bloomberg.com (News & Media) account.

Bloomberg.com does not have article permalinks the same way traditional databases do.  The friendly URL path (use the link icon under the "Share this article" column) for an article should work for students as long as they already have a Stanford-provided Bloomberg.com account and log into the website.

Find Bloomberg.com Content in Traditional Databases

If you would rather use a persistent link, you can use:

Business Source Complete

  • Bloomberg.com archive – browsable article archive in chronological order of publication.  To search for specific content, use the Search within this publication link.  Note: there is a 7-day embargo period between when content is published on Bloomberg.com and available in Business Source Complete.
  • Bloomberg Businessweek archive – browsable article archive in chronological order of publication.  To search for specific content, use the Search within this publication link.
  • Bloomberg.com & Bloomberg Businessweek combined search – combined search results for Bloomberg.com and Bloomberg Businessweek articles.
