Linking to articles on WSJ.com

You can link to articles on WSJ.com because all Stanford users can create a free account with WSJ.com.

WSJ.com does not have permalinks in the same way that traditional databases do. The link in your URL bar *should* work for students, they will just need to log in to WSJ.com with their Stanford WSJ.com account to gain access.

You can also use WSJ Context to create and share reading lists of WSJ content for specific courses.

Find WSJ Content in Traditional Databases

If you'd rather use a traditional persistent link, you can use:

ProQuest

• Wall Street Journal ProQuest search - Searches all US editions and WSJ.com content in ProQuest from 1889-present.
• Use this link for WSJ international editions (coverage ranges from 1991-2017)

1. Click on the desired newspaper link above.
2. Add search terms to the main search box (see main search example) or use the advanced search option (see advanced search example).

Factiva

• Wall Street Journal in Factiva, 1/2/1984-current. 
• Includes some WSJ Pro articles.
• Browse today's paper in the News Pages tab or use the Search tab for find articles.
